Registering takes just a few minutes, but it will save you lots of time and typing on your future visits to Perfect Pear. When you register, your account information will be saved so there will be no need to enter it again unless a change in information has occurred since your last visit. However, we do not save your credit card information; this is for your protection.


We provide SECURE Visa/MC/Amex/Discover transactions over the web. It is quite safe as we use the latest encryption technology to protect your credit card information as well as your personal information. Our site is protected and insured by Verisign, one of the leading companies in the business of securing web sites.

 

Sales Tax - A sales tax of 6% is added to all orders shipped to Connecticut addresses. Sales tax is not charged on shipments to gift recipients outside the state of Connecticut.

Payment Options - Perfect Pear accepts American Express, VISA, MasterCard and Discover credit cards. We also accept ATM cards with VISA or MasterCard logo. We do not accept cash, checks or CODS.

Telephone Orders - We encourage you to order online for the fastest possible service, but please feel free to call in your order. Call us at 1-860-435-0128 Monday through Friday between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. EST.

Our signature gift wrap is a solid khaki colored gift wrap with an ivory bow. For baby and children gifts, we offer white gift wrap with a ribbon choice of blue, pink, or yellow. For the holidays, we offer red wrapping with a white ribbon. A personalized gift card is also enclosed. Should you wish an item be gift wrapped, go to the enlarged view of the item (click on the thumbnail image) and simply select a gift wrapping option. Then enter the recipient's name and the message you wish to send along with the package. This optional finishing touch on your gift is available for most items at $4.95.

We make every effort to ship your order quickly. Items ordered together are not necessarily shipped together. Due to the nature of some of our products, quantities may be limited and items may not be available immediately. Unless a longer lead time is indicated, you will be notified if any item cannot be shipped within 30 days and given the option to cancel your order. An item will not be charged to your account until shipped.

Perfect Pear offers two shipping options for delivery within the United States: ground shipping and 2 Day Air shipping. At this time we are unable to ship to international addresses, PO boxes, APO addresses or US territories. All orders require one to two business days to process before shipping. Business days are Monday through Friday, excluding holidays determined by carriers.

Ground Shipping - Please allow up to 10 days to 2 weeks for delivery of items in stock. Shipping costs are priced-based shipping; i.e, the cost of shipping varies according to the total cost of your order (see shipping table below). The shipping cost will be displayed on the checkout screen.

2-Day Shipping - Two business days when ordered before midnight EST, excluding holidays. This is an additional cost of $12.95 added to the price-based shipping cost described above in ground shipping.

Returns and Exchanges - If, for any reason, you would like to exchange or return your gift or item ordered, we are happy to replace it with another selection or refund the credit card used for the purchase. All returns must be made within 30 days from invoice date. Simply repack the gift in its original packaging (if possible) and include the white copy of the receipt (two copies were included with delivery - a white and a yellow copy) then follow these steps:

  1. Write on the copy of the receipt the reason for the return.
  2. Send the package to:

  3. For your security, please return your package with an insured courier (e.g., FedEx, UPS, USPS Parcel Post) and retain your mailing receipt. This will protect you in case the package is damaged or lost in transit.
  4. If you are returning a gift because it is damaged, defective or not the correct product, Perfect Pear will provide a prepaid UPS return label.
